Intersec IAEM Workshop

Tuesday - April 16, 2019

Hosted in co-operation with the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), this one day certified workshop will serve as a starting point for organisations interested in pursuing the Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP). EMAP is the only organisation that accredits Emergency Management Programs and it is the first time that the Emergency Management Standard Workshop is being hosted in the Middle East.

The goals of this workshop are to provide attendees with an understanding of:

• What are the necessary elements of an Emergency Management Program
• How the EMAP Standard can be used to build, improve upon, and maintain an emergency management program
• The process of preparing for assessment and achieving Accreditation for an Emergency Management Program by EMAP
• The process of obtaining Certification for an individual (CEM/AEM) through IAEM.
